Visiting Australian Basketball Coach Talks Hoops in the U.S.

Two high school teams from Australia traveled halfway across the globe for a basketball tour of the United States. Woodville High School from St Clair, South Australia, and Northern Beaches Christian School from Terry Hills, a suburb of Sydney, Australia, both competed in the La Grange Schmeckenfest Tournament, which was held Dec. 4-6.

La Grange Hosts Schmeckenfest Hoops Tournament

The La Grange Schmeckenfest Basketball Tournament took place Dec. 4-6. The tournament included two teams from Australia who are visiting the United States – Woodville High School of St Clair, South Australia and Northern Beaches Christian School from Terry Hills, a suburb of Sydney, Australia. Woodville High won the varsity boys division with a 60-40 win over La Grange in the final. Leps Move to 2-0

Two games, two dominating wins for the La Grange boys basketball team. But the Leps were not celebrating too much in the aftermath of Tuesday’s 63-31 victory over Hallettsville.
