It’s quality over quantity as far as the La Grange girls basketball team in concerned. Beset by injuries, the Lady Leps suited out only seven varsity players for Friday’s district game against Manor New Tech.

The La Grange boys basketball team just keeps playing better and better. The Leps won their ninth consecutive game and increased their district lead with a 66-58 win over visiting Manor New Tech Friday.

La Grange basketball player Reece Nygren stands at 6’4” and has been a key contributor all season long down low. Not only does Nygren produce on the block, he also performs in the clutch as he nailed two crucial free throws in the final seconds against Caldwell last week to seal a 52-51 victory.
The La Grange basketball teams had a big night in Giddings Tuesday, sweeping their varsity district doubleheader. The Lady Leps started the night with a huge fourth quarter surge that fueled a 44-41 come-from-behind victory over the Lady Buffs.
