The Weimar Vets met the Serbin Jackrabbits on the evening of Sunday, August 11 in the Championship Final of the Community Baseball League at the La Grange Fairgrounds. The Vets jumped to an early 3-0 lead in the second inning, with a key hit by Trent Brown, who scored on an RBI by Carson Peschel.
