In celebration of October as Family History Month, the Fayette Heritage Museum and Archives in La Grange will again join the Genealogy Network of Texas (GNT) for a series of eight streamed genealogy programs on Friday, Oct. 20 from 9 a.m. to 5:40 p.m.

The Children’s Advocacy Center, serving Bastrop, Lee, and Fayette Counties, is honored to announce a significant $30,000 donation from community supporters Steve and Sumer Hillhouse. This generous contribution will be instrumental in the establishment of a fully equipped Children’s Advocacy Center satellite office in La Grange, designed to enhance support for victims and families in Fayette County.

The Stray Gathering Cowboy Church is celebrating an exciting time in the growth of their church with a three day revival starting on Friday, Oct. 6, at 6 p.m. with a “Get to Know You” potluck meal and fellowship.
