The La Grange High School One-Act Play “Jack Fell Down” placed 3rd at the Area Contest in Baytown on Saturday, April 13, qualifying to compete at the 4A Region 3 Contest at Stephen F. Austin State University in Nacogdoches on Friday, April 26. LHS OAP is under the direction of Alizabeth Calhoun.

On Saturday, April 13, Heaven Hrachovy and Kylee Hoffmann traveled to Victoria to compete in the Crowned Flamingo Pageant. The pageant was held at The Mitchell Event Center in Victoria.

Arts for Rural Texas (ARTS) proudly presents “A Splash of Color,” featuring the works of Mary Quiros and her students: Kathy Callaway, Martha Jane Dennis, Kathy Griffith, Judy Elias Hill, Darcia Mucha, Kathy Sauer, Arna Schabloski, and Bernie Scott. While each artist brings their own unique perspective to the medium, their collective passion is evident throughout each of the watercolor paintings showcased in the exhibition.
