That’s a Hefty Tomato
Robert Svrcek stopped by the Record office last Monday morning to show off an example of the one-pound tomatoes he’s growing on property near the airport. Svrcek said the tomato variety is called “Big Boy,” and it appears to live up to its name. Svrcek said he sold 45 lbs. of these tomatoes at the La Grange Farmer’s Market last Saturday.
