Anne (Annie) Marie (Hrncir) Maxwell, 92, of La Grange, entered the gates of her heavenly home on Tuesday, Oct. 10, 2023. She passed away peacefully in her sleep, hopefully dreaming of meeting her Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ.

Annie was born in La Grange on Feb. 16, 1931, the youngest of the four children of Carolina (Vecera) and Joe Hrncir. She was raised on the family farm and lived her entire life within a few miles of her childhood home. She was a lifelong parishioner of Sts. Peter and Paul Catholic Church in Plum.

Lyle Henry F. Lyle was born on Oct. 7, 1937, in Dickinson. He grew up in the Houston area where he graduated from San Jacinto High School in 1955. He obtained a bachelor’s degree from the University of Houston and a master’s degree from the New School in New York City. On Nov. 29, 1969, he married the love of his life, Mary Helen Booth of San Antonio.
