Curtis Lynn Carden, age 70 of West Point, passed away peacefully in his home on Oct. 27, 2023 surrounded by loved ones after a brief diagnosis of cancer.

With heavy hearts, the La Grange community bids farewell to the one-of-a-kind soul, Andrew “Andy” Lawrence Kruppa, who gracefully danced through life barefoot and cast a line of joy into the hearts of all who knew him. He was born on Sept. 5, 1949 in La Grange to Edwin George Kruppa and Cecilia Barbara (Kallus) Kruppa.

Jeanne Behal of Seguin died Nov. 6, 2023 at the age of 99 years. She was born in her grandparent’s home in Seguin on Oct. 20, 1924 to Eugene and Norma Maierhofer Voges. She attended Saint Joseph (now St. James) Parochial School, Seguin High School and Texas Lutheran University.

Jacqueline “Jackie” Marie (Stueber) Muzny, 67, of La Grange, passed away on Sunday, Nov. 5, 2023.

Funeral services for Christine Buscha, 81, of Greens Creek, will be held at 11 a.m., Friday, Nov. 10, 2023 at Holy Cross Lutheran Church in Warda with Rev. Dustin Beck officiating. Visitation will be held on Friday from 10 a.m. until service time at the church. Burial will follow at the Holy Cross Lutheran Cemetery.
