Wesley Lee Naumann, 64, of La Grange, passed away on Sunday evening, Aug. 22, 2021.

Wesley was born Nov. 29, 1957 in La Grange to Wesley Henry Naumann and Margean Grace Giese. He attended school in La Grange.

Wesley married Sherry Yvonne Naumann in La Grange on June 10, 1978, in Fayette County.

As a youth he helped his dad every day to run a Tom’s candy and chips route. On the weekends he brought his Granny’s, (Hattie Giese), homemade bread to the Locker Plant to sell.

He learned from his father Wesley and uncle Leslie to mechanic vehicles and most anything else. He had a love for motorcycles and always had a motorcycle or three.

Wesley began his career at LCRA Aug. 23,1982 as a machinist where he eventually made Journeyman Machinist at a young age. He was also and artist and was very creative.

Wesley was always willing to help others out, and later in life he enjoyed many Theocratic privileges ranging from delivering food boxes to saying the prayer at the zoom meetings of a local congregation of Jehovah’s Witnesses. Wesley took these privileges very seriously.

Wesley is preceded in death by his son, Eric Shawn Naumann; father and mother, Wesley Henry Naumann and Margean Grace Naumann;his sisters, Gidget Dawn Naumann and Darla Jean Naumann Sevcik; and his grandparents: W. C. Giese and his wife Hattie Moerbe Giese.

Wesley is survived by his wife, Sherry Harkey Naumann, his daughter, Candace Naumann; his grandchildren, Jaylon Strambler, Brandon Strambler, and Paige Naumann; his brothers, Stuart Naumann and his wife Sharon Naumann, Eric Naumann and his wife Tammy Naumann; and numerous cousins, and nieces and nephews.
