The Hostyn KJT Society #3 applied for a grant from their home office for Sacred Heart Catholic School and then matching that grant with local funds to benefit Sacred Heart’s religion program. Michael and Marilyn Hoelscher Melnar, owners of FHM Ellinger Holdings, were recognized at the 49th Annual Family Land Heritage Program in Austin on October 18. The property has been in the family since 1854. Marilyn is the great-great-great granddaughter of the founder.
