Work of Fayetteville Resident to be Featured
Fayetteville resident Jerry Brown will feature his photography in the upcoming ARTS exhibit, Lasting Impressions, opening at the Old Stanzel in Schulenburg, this Saturday, Jan. 8 from 5-7 p.m. One of his photographs, Bolivar Stairs, was taken last spring at historical Fort Travis Seashore Park on the Bolivar Peninsula. Take in his distinctive works, along with those of four other local photographers who have captured life as they see it through the camera lens. The exhibit runs through March 5.
City Council
The City Council meeting is being held on Monday, Jan. 10 this month at 7 p.m. It’s been moved up a week due to Martin Luther King Day. The agenda will be posted on the bulletin board outside of the city offices 72 hours in advance of the meeting, per the Open Meetings Act. Fedora Graduates
JD and Madeline Kovar recently attended their granddaughter’s graduation at Texas A&M. Jordan Lee Fedora graduated with honors, earning a Bachelor of Science degree in Health.
Picking Park
