St. James Donates to Serenity Star Recovery

The St. James Episcopal Church Men’s Club made a special $500 Christmas donation to Serenity Star Recovery in Smithville. Serenity Star runs an addiction rehabilitation program and operates the Comfort Cafe, which is open for breakfast and lunch Friday, Saturday and Sunday. The cafe is located at 111 NW First Street in Smithville. Receiving the donation is left to right: Heather McBryar, Bianca Loera, Audrey Kass and Kayla Byers.
