Round Top Planning Annual Lighted Christmas Parade

Round Top Planning Annual Lighted Christmas Parade

The annual Round Top Lighted Christmas Parade will be here before we know it. Currently, events are scheduled for the first week in December. Stay tuned for updates, or you can visit exploreroundtop.com.

Winedale

On Tuesday, Nov. 17, at noon, Dr. Paul N. Spellman, Professor of History at Wharton County Junior College in Richmond, will talk about Austin’s Old 300. Although most Texans have heard of Austin’s Old 300, a lot of what we think we know is more fiction than fact. The first American families into Texas in the early 1820s represent a much broader and diverse story than most of us were taught in school. And this time, fact is even better than fiction. E-mail tricia.blakistone@austin.utexas.edu for the Zoom link to this presentation.
