Longest Night Worship Service

For many of us, 2020 has been an exhausting and depleting year. If you’re not feeling the usual joy of the holiday season or if you just need an hour of quiet, meaningful worship please join the Shared Lutheran Ministry churches for the Longest Night Worship Service on Monday, Dec. 21 in Rutersville beginning at 6 p.m. The Star of Bethlehem appears that night it is the star that brought the world to the Light of the World, Jesus Christ. So we will incorporate a ‘starsighting’ as part of our worship. The service also offers ornaments of remembrance, candle-lighting, carols, and communion (open to all who choose to take it). If you can’t join us in person, it will be available on our Facebook page, Shared Lutheran Ministry of Fayette County that night.
