AMEN Food Drive

La Grange Noon Club will host a food drive next week as part of their November Serve 12 Program. Drop of locations include: Land Brokers, Inc., KJT, Fayette Savings, Round Top State Bank, WoodmenLife and REDI Local Market & Venue. Monetary donations are also accepted. All donations will benefit the AMEN Food Pantry.

Hermann Sons Life

The Ellinger Hermann Sons Life Lodge will not be meeting for the remainder of 2020. The Lodge will keep you updated as to when they will meet again.

Food Truck

The Central Texas Food Bank truck will be in Fayetteville at the St. John parking lot on Friday, Nov. 6 from 10 to 11 a.m. It is a drive thru distribution site.

KC BBQ Sunday

The Fayetteville/Ellinger Knights of Columbus will have their monthly BBQ this Sunday morning Nov. 8 at the St John the Baptist Catholic Church from 10:30 a.m. to 12 noon. Call to place your order for chicken, ribs and sausage (979) 249-6003. Side dishes will be available from Catholic Daughters. Masks and social distancing will be maintained.

Christmas Event

Join us for a Christmas Open House at the Historic Casino Hall on Thursday, Nov. 19. From 4 to 6 p.m., you’ll be able to enjoy a little holiday cheer at the Historic Casino Hall in La Grange located at 254 N. Jefferson Street. There will be plenty of festive pre-packaged cookies from Kai’s Kookies for everyone to sample along with holiday photo opportunities by the beloved Christmas tree in the foyer. Social distancing practices along with plenty of hand sanitizer will be available.
