Quade-Werchan Post 338 Meeting Will be Held Jan. 7

The monthly meeting for American Legion Quade-Werchan Post 338 scheduled for Thursday, Jan. 7, will be held. The general meeting for all Post members and the Ladies Auxiliary will begin at 7:30 p.m.

Post Commander Lyn Reavis stated, “Due to the COVID-19 crisis the post has not held a regular monthly meeting since February 2020. The Executive Committee believes that due to issues related to the annual budget, preparing for the Spring 2021 Antiques Show and the Post Constitution, the members need to be updated. The Executive Committee met on October 13th and reviewed social distancing in the hall so that the post can meet safely and conduct business on behalf of the post.” He also noted that any post members that need to join via ZOOM can contact him for information related to the meeting.

Mr. Reavis noted that members should continue pay close attention to local newspapers and radio stations for updates during the month of January. All meetings will be held in compliance with current conditions regarding the COVID-19 virus.

American Legion Quade-Werchan Post 338 meets the first Thursday of each month at their hall located at 1503 N. State Highway 237 in Round Top. Meetings begin promptly at 7:30 p.m.
