La Grange Gets a New Fire Truck

On Tuesday, Nov. 17, La Grange Volunteer Fire Department took delivery of their newest fire truck, Engine 1. The truck was manufactured by Metro Fire of Houston. LGVFD ordered the truck in June of last year. It took more than a year to build. The truck cost $650,684. The City of La Grange and LGVFD split the cost.
