Juneteenth celebrations took place in La Grange on Saturday, June 18. The day kicked off with a parade through La Grange, starting near La Grange Elementary School and ending west of the Courthouse. The parade consisted of 18 lively entries led by a La Grange fire truck carrying Mayor Jan Dockery and Mayor Pro Tem Kathy Weishuhn. Several local youth groups and civic organizations took part.
