James Dick Performing Oct. 17 in Honor of Beethoven
James Dick will perform on the Layton House porch on Saturday, Oct. 17, beginning at 7 p.m. The hour-long solo piano program will celebrate the 250th anniversary of Beethoven’s birth, as well as several others. All tickets must be purchased in advance online. Attendees are asked to wear a mask and practice social distancing. Fall Antiques Show
Everyone in Round Top is gearing up for the 2020 Fall Antiques Show. The official start is Thursday, Oct. 15, and the event will run through Sunday, Nov. 1. Show venues have agreed to adopt enhanced health standards for their individual shows to include: mandatory masks for shoppers and dealers when social distancing cannot be achieved, shopping set up to ease the ability to remain socially distant, capacity limits according to state standards at the time and enhanced hand sanitizing facilities. 4-H Poinsettia Sale

Burger Nights
Round Top Rifle Hall Monday Hamburger Nights are held on the first through fourth Mondays of each month from 5 to 8 p.m. All proceeds benefit the continued improvement of the Round Top Rifle Hall Association. Several safety measures have been put in place, including outdoor seating and to-go packaging for the food.

On Tuesday, Oct. 20, at noon, Bryan McAuley, site manager at San Felipe de Austin State Historic Site, will share a quick overview of the San Felipe project. The site shares the stories of Stephen F. Austin and his efforts to recruit settlers to Mexican Texas between 1821 and 1836 and is located at the site of his Colony headquarters.
