It’s Getting Dry Out There

Five firemen from the La Grange fire department responded to a brush pile fire that got out of control and spread Thursday about noon on Skillet Lane in the O’Quinn area. Assistant Fire Chief Frankie Srubar said about a half acre ended up burning and the fire was near a home but “thankfully the wind was blowing in the right direction” away from the home, Srubar said.
