Hudson Drops Lawsuit

Tom Hudson, the owner of the La Grange Subway, and his company JATOR, Inc, have dropped their lawsuit against the City of La Grange stemming from the years-long dispute over the restaurant’s electric sign.

La Grange city manager Shawn Raborn informed the city council members of this at Monday’s meeting.

In paperwork filed Oct. 8 with the District Clerk, Hudson’s lawyer, Jeff Heintschel, said, “Plaintiffs no longer desire to prosecute this suit against Defendant (City of La Grange).

Raborn told the council that the city is proceeding with its claims against Hudson for violations of the sign ordinance.
