Fund Set Up For Injured Local Restaurant Owner

Friends and neighbors of the La Grange businessman who suffered serious injuries in a motorcycle wreck on June 29 are raising money to support his family.

Visar Halilaj, the owner of Ere’s Italian Restaurant and Pizzeria, has been in a medically-induced coma since the accident. Donations can be droped off at the Hart Land Real Estate Office. “He is the business owner, the great chef at the pizzeria and the provider to his family,” stated the organizers of the GoFundMe page. “As of June 29, they have been closed and will continue to be closed, which means there is no income coming in to help pay everyday bills, and eventually, all the medical bills that will likely come in soon.”

Halilaj is the father of four young children.

“They are desperately waiting for him to wake up so they can see their dad,” the organizers said. “If you have it in your heart we please ask you to help out this family, and if you can’t they will take all the prayers and well wishes they can get.”
