Fayetteville KCs Resume BBQ Sundays

The local Knights of Columbus will be having their monthly barbecue this Sunday, Oct. 11, at the St. John the Baptist Catholic Church hall pits. Pickup will begin at 10:30 a.m. and chicken, sausage and ribs will be available. Advance orders are appreciated and may be made by calling (979) 249-6003. The CDA will have side dishes available.

This event will be in accordance with the CDC guidelines; please wear a face mask and practice social distancing.

Rosary Crusade

America Needs Fatima Rosary Crusade will be held in public setting on the Fayetteville Courthouse square on Saturday, Oct. 10, at noon. This is one of over 20,000 groups to pray the Rosary for many intentions in this time of need. There will be chairs, but you may bring your own if you wish to do so. Wear a face mask, since CDC guidelines will be followed. Call Madeline at (979) 378-2361 if you have any questions.

PTC Harvest Carnival

The Fayetteville Parent-Teachers Club Harvest Carnival has been cancelled this year. However, a raffle and drive-thru chili and beef stew will take place. This event will be held on Friday, Oct. 30, at the St. John the Baptist Catholic Church Recreation Hall in Fayetteville from 4:30 to 7 p.m. No presale tickets will be sold. The chili and stew will be sold in quart containers for $10 each.

A raffle will be held with the FISD students selling the tickets for $10 each. Support the PTC for the good of the school and the students.

SLM Worship

The congregations of the Shared Lutheran Ministry will continue having in-person worship. St. John, Ellinger worships at 8 a.m.; St. John’s, Warrenton at 8:30 a.m.; St. John, Rutersville at 10 a.m.; and St. Paul, Fayetteville at 10:30 a.m.
