Drunk Smithville Fan Arrested

La Grange Police arrested a man for public intoxication at Leps Stadium Friday night during the La Grange vs. Smithville football game.

La Grange Police Chief David Gilbreath said the man was a Smithville fan. Gilbreath said another person in the visitors stands alerted police about the intoxicated man.

“He was in the bleachers,” Gilbreath said. “We located him and escorted him out and arrested him for public intoxication.”

Gilbreath said the man showed up to the game intoxicated.

Police arrested the man without further incident.
