Deputy Arrests Individual On Traffic Stop For Felony Warrant

Fayette County Sheriff Keith Korenek reports that on Wednesday, Sept. 23 in the morning morning around 11:30 a.m. Deputy Rick Bohlmann conducted a traffic stop on I-10 near the 668 mile marker eastbound near the Engle exit on a 2010 Cadillac for a traffic violation.

After contact was made with the driver and a drivers license check, the driver had an outstanding felony warrant from Harris County for aggravated assault that caused serious bodily injury.

After confirmation with Harris County the driver, 31-year-old Reco Deshun Rhodes of Houston was arrested without incident and transported to the Dan R. Beck Justice Center. The female passenger was transported to the Sheriff’s office by drug interdiction Investigator David Smith to wait for a family member.
