Collision Near Hostyn Sends Four to Hospital

Woman Ejected From Vehicle But Expected to Survive Accident

A head-on collision on US 77 near the Hostyn cutoff sent four people to the hospital with injuries. All are recovering, according to the Texas Department of Public Safety. The wreck happened around 12:26 p.m. a short distance north of the intersection of US 77 and FM 2436. Trooper Mason Hartnett with the Texas Highway Patrol investigated the accident.
