Churches Celebrate Couples
Special couples from St. John the Baptist Catholic Church and St. Mary Catholic Church received marriage certificates this past weekend.

KC Barbecue
The local Knights of Columbus will be offering their monthly barbecue this Sunday, Jan. 10 at the St. John the Baptist Catholic Church hall pits beginning at 10:30 a.m. Barbecue chicken, sausage and ribs will be available. Advance orders are appreciated and can be made by calling (979) 249-6003. The CDA will be offering side dishes.
Food Truck Correction
The Central Texas Food Bank food truck will be in Fayetteville on Thursday, Jan. 14, and not on Friday, Jan. 15, as I previously reported.
This is a drive-thru event and clients are asked to stay in their vehicles.
Christmas Serenade
Raymond and Lillie Domel were pleasantly surprised recently by their nephew and niece with a Christmas musical serenade. Weston and Camryn Smith entertained them with Christmas songs. They are the children of Sue and Derrick Smith and the grandchildren of Rose and Eugene Urbanovsky. Also in attendance was Theresa Urbanovsky.
