Celebrate OktoBierFest Saturday in Round Top
Round Top Rifle Hall’s 9th Annual OktoBierFest is scheduled for Saturday, Oct. 24. The event will feature German music, food and bier. Gates open at 11 a.m.
Monday Hamburger Nights are held on the first through fourth Mondays of each month beginning at 5:30 p.m. All proceeds benefit the continued improvement of the Round Top Rifle Hall Association.
Fall Antiques Show
The Fall Antiques Show continues on through the first weekend in November. Following this year’s show is the 2020 Round Top Wine Fest, from Nov. 6 through 8. Live music on Friday night will kick-off the weekend’s events. On Saturday, participating shops in the area will have several different wines to sample. Then on Sunday, the event concludes with brunch offered by participating restaurants. Tickets are $35 in advance or $40 at the door. Tickets may be purchased at exploreroundtop.com/winefest.
Lion’s Club Turkey Trot
The 4th Annual Round Top Lion’s Club Turkey Trot will be held on Thursday, Nov. 26, at Henkel Square Market. This event supports the Round Top Youth and Community Organizations. Participants can choose to run a 5K, 10K, one-mile Fun Run, Virtual 5K or Virtual 10K. 4-H Pointsettia Sale
The members of Round Top-Carmine 4-H Club are selling poinsettias for Christmas now through the end of the month. Pick-up will be in December. Contact a local 4-H member to order yours.
Bethlehem Lutheran Church
Bethlehem Lutheran Church services with Pastor John David Nedbalek are held on Sundays at 9:30 a.m. Holy Communion is being celebrated once again using individual, pre-packaged units.

BLC Bible study was held on Thursday, Oct. 15, continuing with the study of God’s presence in the present. The first session focused on remembering God’s presence in the past. The last session of Holy Time will be Wednesday, Nov. 11, focusing on our faith in the relationship of our lives for the future. Pastor John David Nedbalek is leading this worship study session. He is helping us recognize God’s care and call in this time and place, that our daily lives might reflect God’s grade. Julie Wantland served as hostess for the October meeting. Jeanette Schoenst served in September and Jolene Wickel will serve for November. The Thankoffering service will be on Nov. 22 at 9:30 a.m. A big thank you to all who helped work and all who made desserts for the fried chicken drive-thru. Thank you to all who were very generous in their support.

City of Refuge Church
