Carmine Chamber of Commerce 2020 Christmas Fest a Success

Carmine Chamber of Commerce Christmas Fest turned out to be a success, despite the unknowns. Food sales were great and the Santa drawing was a huge success. They would like to thank all who participated in any way.

RT-C School News

Round Top-Carmine ISD is on Winter break until Jan. 6. The second semester begins on Jan. 7.

The school personnel would like to remind parents to try to keep their children healthy during the break, especially a week before classes resume. Take precautions and wear face masks. They would like to complete the Spring semester without quarantine.

High School girls and boys basketball teams host Fayetteville Jan. 5.

Carmine Volunteer Fire Department wishes everyone a safe Christmas and New Year holiday season. Check your smoke detectors to make sure the battery is working.

MLLC News

Saturday worship with Holy Communion is at 6 p.m.

Sunday School is Sunday at 9 a.m. Worship with Holy Communion, observing the Epiphany of Our Lord, is at 10 a.m. The service will also be on the mllccarmine.com website.The Rev. David Tinker is the pastor.

Visitors’ Center

Carmine Chamber of Commerce Visitors’ Center at the restored Train Depot is open on the second and fourth Fridays and Saturdays of the month from 10 a.m.-2 p.m.
