To the Editor: The author of a recent Letter to the Editor would have us believe “Thanks to the leadership of President Biden oil production in America is at its highest level in history.” Actually oil production in America has increased in spite of Biden’s policies not because of them. Biden campaigned on putting the oil companies out of business.
To the Editor: Americans across races, places, and parties value our freedoms, and so we watched in horror as violent insurrectionists attacked our country on Jan. 6, 2021, incited by Trump and MAGA Republicans.
To the Editor: As a new citizen of La Grange, I read with great interest of The City Council’s intention to re-brand our town. Part of this effort will be to find a new slogan.
It’s hard to find someone in Fayette County that doesn’t know about Second Chance Emporium. And if you’ve found yourself in line, anxiously waiting for the store to open on a Friday morning, it kind of feels like everyone in La Grange just might be standing in line with you. Simply put, Second Chance is remarkable.
