How Much More Can We Afford

To the editor:

About 1765 the American Colonist initiated the slogan “No Taxation without Representation.”

Now, some 260 years later, The Fayette Electric Co-op Board wants to raise rates again. The Fayette County Commissioners Court are looking to increase the tax revenue amount. The La Grange ISD just proposed a large bond issue. And, City Councils continue to propose large projects.

The question is ‘How much more Representation” can we afford?
