Honoring America, Waving the Flags

To the editor:

The crowds may have been down for this year’s Fayette County Fair, but my oh my, it was Red, White and Glorious.

The Fair was a star-spangled display of patriotism and pride from the opening day to the closing night. Our nation’s 250th birthday was celebrated with colorful decør on floats, on stages and in exhibit halls.

All of us involved with the Semiquincentennial Commission express our gratitude to the Fair Board and all the participants for making the 99th Annual Fayette County Fair a beautiful America 250 celebration.
