Mr. Dykes suggests we “seek candidates for state and federal positions by analyzing them as if they are running for Fayette County Judge.”
Would any Fayette County conservative vote for Mr. Talarico for Fayette County Judge, a man who claims to be a Christian but denies the creation of only two human genders-man and woman? (Gen 1:27); who claims to know what Jesus would do if He was a Senator? (Jesus was not political. He advised, when asked, “Render unto Caesar the things which are Caesar’s; and unto God the things that are God’s.” (Matthew 22:21); who has hired a company to pay people $25 to attend a one-hour Zoom class to learn why voting is important and why the Republicans are causing all of these bad things? “It’s like a roundabout way of paying people for their votes, essentially,” says the organizing manager. (reported by Town-Hall.com) “At $25 per vote, that could be good for 20,000 ballots.”
As for International law, as a Christian, Mr. Talarico would know the story of the tower of Babel (Genesis 11: 6-9). Different languages, different cultures, different geographies, different civilizations were established.
The subsidized solar energy sector is reported to “anchor a massive portion of the energy workforce, employing more workers in generation infrastructure than oil, coal, and gas combined in key operational sectors.” Who has gained from the $771 billion combined utility- scale solar, storage, and wind deployment capital investments across all 50 states? Not Trump or the regular American citizen. Is it possible, the downsizing and restricting of the oil and gas industry in the U.S., policies dictated by the Obama and Biden administrations, have resulted in less gas available for local gas consumers?
Mr. Dykes refuses to give credit where credit is due.
Trump has succeeded in removing Chinese dominance over the Panama Canal. Trump has succeeded in signing a new Arctic security agreement with Denmark and Greenland. Trump has succeeded in making an Historic Oil Agreement with Venezuelan interim authorities granting the U.S. and private partners extensive access to the country’s crude reserves holding roughly 65 billion barrels of oil. (“The arrangement replaces fields previously operated or influenced by Russian and Chinese firms”) Google Venezuela oil deal.
The Strait of Hormuz is a crucial route for global oil and gas shipments, and disruptions there continue to reverberate through energy markets. Is it an illegal war? Is it unconstitutional? For those who might need a history lesson: “The Korean War (25 June 1950 – 27 July 1953) was an armed conflict fought on the Korean Peninsula between North Korea (Democratic People’s Republic of Korea; DPRK) and South Korea (Republic of Korea; ROK) and their allies.” “The U.S. Congress never enacted a formal declaration of war or authorization for the use of military force for the conflict in Korea.”
Truman did not make the decision to enter the Korean conflict on his own and Trump didn’t make the decision to open the Strait of Hormuz by himself. Representatives for the American people who took an oath to uphold the Constitution have advised and supported the president’s decisions.
Reported Sept. 21,2026, “The US President called for an end to the Ukraine war saying:” “Russia has unfortunately lost control of its Diesel Oil Industry due to its War with Ukraine. A large number of their Diesel refineries have been blown up and are, at least temporarily, out of commission.” “This ridiculous and never-ending War with Ukraine must be ended. The whole World suffers as 25,000 people, mostly soldiers, are being killed each month. What a shame!”
President Donald Trump and New York City Mayor Zohran Mamdani met for about an hour behind closed doors at Gracie Mansion. “The two discussed advancing thousands of housing units in Queens but made no federal funding commitment.”
These are not the activities of a ‘cult leader.’ Trump has done more for the American citizen than several of our most recent presidents from either political party.
Mr. Dykes should consider focusing on the Democratic Socialist of America’s (DSA) agenda. I recently read a headline, “Whom do the Democratic Socialist of America Politicians Represent?” According to the article, “Candidates are expected to “view themselves as socialist organizers first, and legislators second.” The author of the article quotes James Madison and John Adams, two of our Founding Fathers. “Adams’ emphasis was on whom a representative assembly ultimately belongs to: the people.” Madison warned “groups driven by a common passion or interest could sacrifice “the public good and the rights of other citizens” to their own objectives. The constitutional system was designed in part to prevent precisely that kind of narrow interest from overwhelming the broader good.”
As Mr. Dykes states in his opinion, “It is a very basic issue of governance that if we do not support our Founding Fathers we will continue to have bad and horrible consequences.”
Trump isn’t on the midterm ballot but candidates who support the DSA agenda are. Will Fayette County voters be discerning and stand up for freedom fighters or fake democracy advocates who are obsessed with anti-Trumpism?
