Leps Start New Basketball Era Under Collier

The La Grange boys basketball team won their home opener Monday 60-39 over Schulenburg in an interesting battle between coaches who were working together just last season. New La Grange boys basketball coach Trent Collier was an assistant under longtime Schulenburg coach Richard Hoogendoorn the past two seasons before taking over the Leps program.

Schulenburg Dominates All-District Volleyball Team

At the conclusion of the state volleyball tournament, the 27-2A All-district volleyball team was announced, and it comes as no surprise that the district champ Lady Horns were heavily honored. Flatonia Girls Down La Grange Powered by Big Night from Sodek

The Flatonia girls basketball team came to La Grange Friday and got a statementmaking win over a much bigger school, beating the Lady Leps 47-40. “I’m excited about the win, but the play in general was not what we wanted,” said firstyear Flatonia coach Bethany McLeod.
