Round Top-Carmine Volleyball Team Honored On the 10th Anniversary of their 2013 Title

Every year at the state volleyball tournament, championship teams from 10 years ago reunite and are recognized on the court as Honor Teams. This year marked the 10th anniversary of Round Top-Carmine’s 2013 state volleyball title. In the top photo above, the Cubettes are shown in their official state photo from 10 years ago, and in the bottom photo are those players and coaches being recognized last week in Garland at the state tournament. Head coach was Tanya Nygrin. Assistants were Amanda Stofle and Jolene Byrd. Players were Delaney Hirsch, Mallory Hall, Taylor Williford, Jordan Peters, Marissa Hibbeler, Megan Hohlt, Emma Leppard, Brittany Hohlt, Amber Sternadel, Brook Conley, Adyson Lange and Madison Krause. Managers were Brianna Kraemer, Ashtyn McKenzie, and Stephanie Moehlemann. The Cubettes went 33-12 that season and swept past Lindsay and Windthorst at state.
