Kreische Brewery-Monument Hill to Host Easter on the Bluff

“Oh boy, did we hunt Easter Eggs up there,” longtime La Grange resident Verna Reichert recalled of childhood visits to the Bluff. Continuing this cherished tradition, Kreische Brewery and Monument Hill State Historic Sites will host their annual Easter on the Bluff on Saturday, April 4 from 2-7 p.m. The familyfriendly event will feature children’s egg hunts on the grounds, living history demonstrations, and games. All are invited to take part in the long-standing tradition of celebrating Easter atop the Bluff overlooking La Grange.
Young visitors can race to find eggs hidden throughout the grounds, like this from a previous Easter event on the bluff.

DOPTABLE Want to know a three-letter word for Love? Ike and Rex! These two boys have been here so long that they have basically won employees of the month. What they really want to do is quit and come home with you! Please plan a visit to the shelter to meet them! Even if they are not the right dog for you, you can help us network them so that they can find their forever family.
