At Senior Connections, we celebrate the vibrant lives of seniors aged 55 and up. With a welcoming atmosphere, delicious meals, and a variety of engaging activities, there’s always something happening. Our doors are open from 9 a.m. - 2 p.m. Our wonderful volunteers will greet you with a warm hug and a hot cup of coffee, ensuring you feel right at home. Whether you’re a fan of board games, dominoes, bingo, or art classes, there’s a place for you here.

Join us March 30 in Schulenburg at 1111 Bohlmann Ave. in Wolters Park. Enjoy chicken-fried chicken breast with gravy, made by our mayor and esteemed board member, Connie Koopmann, paired with buttery potatoes and our famous mixed green salad topped with seasonal fruit and our secret dressing, made by our talented volunteers.

After lunch, it’s “Get to Know Your Neighbor Day.” Take this opportunity to connect with fellow members without the distractions of games.

Join us at 12:30 p.m. for an exciting round of bingo, led by member Dennis Plocheck.

Join in Schulenburg on April 1, April Fools’ Day. Meal includes beef tips and gravy provided by Koopman Catering, paired with rice, house salad, garlic bread, and dessert brought by our members. Arrive before 11 a.m. to secure a seat and a refreshing drink, please. Don’t miss Debbie V. calling bingo at 12 p.m. after lunch.

Artful Friday resumes on April 3, Good Friday. Kick off a new month of creative workshops in collaboration with Arts for Rural Texas. We are so grateful to this organization for the partnership we have with them to offer these amazing classes led by talented artist instructors.

Crochet Class will be led by our talented volunteer, Sheryl Tumis. Learn from Jaime Janda as she introduces different painting methods and mediums each week. These classes are currently full, but you can get your name on the waitlist or learn about upcoming workshops by calling (979) 743-3227.

Join Senior Connections and enjoy all activities and services at no cost. We do have a donation box for those who wish to donate. Meals are prepared with care to ensure you feel good and energized and build lasting connections with fellow members who share your interests.
