Sister Imaculata and Sister Pauline Grace from the Dominican Sisters of Mary Mother of the Eucharist Convent in Georgetown came to visit the children at sacred Heart School in La Grange for National Vocations Week. They met with the students to talk about and answer questions about being a Sister. “The students had some great questions. They also got the visit with the students during computer/ makerspace class. It was a great day for everyone,” said Sacred Heart Principal LaDonna Voelkel.
One of La Grange’s tastiest fundraisers was held Thursday in La Grange as the Rotary Club hosted its annual Pancake Supper, which helps funs the organization’s charitable efforts and scholarships. This was the first time for the meal to be held at the new La Grange elementary cafeteria. Below are some shots of the army of volunteers that made the event a success.

Former Muldoon native Billie Rightmer celebrated her ninetieth birthday recently with a little party at Regency in Schulenburg last week with family and friends. She was surprised by her grandchildren Lane Rightmer and Reed Rightmer who arrived from Waco and Houston. The family celebrated with cake and balloons and lots of visiting.
