Should AI Write Our Opinions?
To the editor:
Wow, those were some really long editorials last week. Though some appeared more written by AI tools rather than personal opinion.
1st up. – Citizens United was a 1st Amendment case. That stretch to the 14th was tedious at best. What would have been more interesting is the connection to their video on demand about Hillary and her “fishy” dealings to inform (and influence) voters that lower court actions sought and were successful at suppressing the truth about her. In January (after the election) the Supreme Court struck down the ban. Turns out enough citizens actually united together to elect Trump even without the movie.
Also an interesting take on the case would be how it led to Super PACs and dark money which is really a problem in our elections in my opinion.
2nd take. – As a proud Trumpoid and real conservative, how about that Greenland deal? “Google” (or better yet GROK) that one if you’re interested, because main stream media won’t tell you about it. It’s as amazing and strategic to our National Security and America First as the tariffs have been to our long term economy to bring back manufacturing to US jobs and communities. Sorry Canada, not sorry.
TheTDS (Trump Derangement Syndrome) is strong with this one. First time I’ve ever seen the word mercantilism but it was a fun little exploration on GROK as it relates to our President’s successes at dismantling the globalist takeover of the US and supplanting the British Imperial System with the American System.
Oh, by the way, the last time Congress actually declared war was six months after the Dec. 7 bombing of Pearl Harbor. It’s always an Executive Branch action.
Thirdly, I think you meant to say climate crisis not merely climate change. That’s way more end of the world as we know it. To be succinct, climate changing is called “seasons” and the climate crisis is the most expensive grift in the history of the world. As always, if you fund scientists enough money they’ll give you whatever “facts” you need.
4th up. – I really enjoyed the Politicians and the Billionaires. It was long but thoughtful and had some good reference links. Fun how it ties back to Citizens United and the spawning of Super PACs and dark money and what that does to our career politicians.
In contrast though, I’m in favor of billionaires bringing their businesses to Texas as well as American AI over China AI. At issue here for me is how money in politics corrupts and spawns career pandering politicians. Let’s all press for term limits, age caps tied to competency and coherence (ie Biden) as a decent start to broad reform or at least guard rails.
Lastly, loved the heart felt interjections on proudly incorporating your Christian values into your selection of our politicians in hopes that they’ll be Leaders that reflect your values and not be puppets of the aforementioned Super PACs and Dark Money.
