Be Nicer

To the editor:

Fayette County has been my home for 80+ (plus) years and I must say I am (appalled) deeply disturbed with the unpleasant first sentence in a “Letter to the Editor” Friday, September 18, 2026.

If a business/professional person calls locals “dumpster divers for dummkopf arguments,” I have to wonder his quality of service to his community?! In my opinion, You don’t judge others and expect respect for your business. Maybe share positive comments of Fayette County citizens. (I googled his name as I didn’t recognize. He is a consulting engineer.)

I don’t ever remember my father or other business elders discussing individual’s political preference and still expecting to make an honest living in our rural community.

Come on folks - be considerate. Be nice.
