Wyatt Wick Pitches Complete Game Shutout for UT-Tyler
Former La Grange High School standout pitcher Wyatt Wick hurled a complete game shutout for UT-Tyler Friday in a 6-0 win over Eastern New Mexico.
Wick threw 79 pitches, allowing just five hits and one walk while striking out five in a seven-inning effort in the second game of a doubleheader.
The outing lowered Wick’s ERA to 0.73 this season.
He is a junior in his first season at Tyler after pitching two years at Galveston College.
