The Flatonia football team lost their eighth game in a row with a 43-10 loss Friday at Weimar.
The Wildcats ran for 517 yards, compared to just 187 total yards for the Bulldogs.
Flatonia’s two scores came in the fourth quarter on a 36-yard touchdown pass from Beck Zimmerman to Lukas Gutierrez and a 42-yard field goal by Josemaria Garcia.
The Bulldogs are now 1-8 overall and 0-5 in district. Weimar improves to 5-4 overall and 4-1 and officially clinched a playoff spot.
Flatonia closes out its season Friday by hosting Schulenburg.
