In a match for control of the 28-1A district volleyball standings, Round Top-Carmine defeated Fayetteville Friday 25-14, 25-18, 25-13.
Round Top-Carmine improved to 20-18 overall and 3-0 in district with the win. Stats for the Cubettes include: Madison Markwardt - 4 kills, 1 assist block, 10 digs, 26 assists, 2 aces; Tess Eilers - 10 kills, 1 solo block, 12 digs, 1 assist Bree Dooley - 10 kills, 6 digs, 8 aces Jessica Rohde - 8 kills, 3 solo blocks, 4 assist blocks, 5 digs, 1 assist, 3 aces Makayla Smith - 2 kills, 3 assist blocks, 7 digs, 3 assists, 1 ace Reagan Williams - 1 kill, 1 dig Avery Nelius - 6 digs Alin Soto - 1 dig For Fayetteville, Tara Vitek and Cambree Denham each had five kills and Lainey Gromaski had four. Scotti Beseda had 11 digs, Emily Keilers had 10 and Devynn Moeckel had seven. Beseda had 13 assists.
The Lady Lions fell to 2410 overall and 3-1 in district with the loss.
La Grange
The La Grange varsity volleyball team lost at Bellville Friday 5-25, 13-25, 5-25 to drop their district record to 3-4 and their overall mark to 11-25. The Lady Leps host Giddings Tuesday at 6 p.m.

Flatonia
The Flatonia volleyball team swept Louise Friday to improve to 24-12 overall and 6-1 in district.

Flatonia is back in action Tuesday at Shiner.
Schulenburg
The Schulenburg volleyball team beat Ganado 25-7, 25-9, 25-15 Friday to improve to 27-11 overall and 5-2 in district.
Emmrie Marx had 17 kills for the Lady Horns. Landry Zapalac had 35 assists and three aces.
Haylee Vacek had eight kills and 10 digs. Reagan Dusek had seven kills. Michaela Kollman had 19 digs and Avery Helms had six. Clara Magliolo had six kills.
