Tuesday Hoops Winners Include Leps, Lions, Cubettes, Flatonia

Lions Keep Rolling

The La Grange boys basketball team went to Columbus Tuesday and beat the Cardinals 52-44 led by a 23 point night from Nate Scott.

The Leps now have a 9-4 record and play at the Navasota Tournament this week.

The La Grange girls were off Tuesday and play at the Brazos Tournament this week.

The No. 4-ranked Fayetteville basketball team (8-1) beat Shiner Tuesday 62-58.

Looking back at the Lions sweep to a title at their home tournament over the weekend, Keagan Supak scored 13.5 points per game and averaged four rebounds per game.

Easton Jaeger averaged 11.3 points and eight rebounds. Lawson Fritsch averaged 10.5 points per game and 3.5 rebounds per game.
