Coach With Local Connections Has Cards on Verge of Title

Just a few weeks after the Columbus football team won a state title, the Columbus basketball team has made it to the state title game as well.

Their head coach is Troy Bohac, a Schulenburg High School graduate, who also used to coach at Flatonia.

Bohac and the Cardinals (17-2) play Tatum at 1 p.m. Friday at the Alamodome for the 3A Division 1 title.
