Sporting Clays Event April 18 Supports Grassland and Wildlife Conservation

Cat Spring-based nonprofit Wildlife Habitat Federation (WHF) will hold a sporting clays fundraiser the afternoon of April 18 at Texas Premier Sporting Arms. The event, presented by Mustang Cat, starts at noon with a catered BBQ lunch and will be followed with refreshments and an awards ceremony with custom trophies. Team registrations are available online at https:// whf-texas.org; pre-registration is required. Texas Premier Sporting Arms is located at 7311 TX-36 in Sealy, Texas.

Proceeds from WHF’s Sporting Clays for Conservation fundraiser support conservation efforts to improve wildlife habitats and expand the footprint of Texas native grasslands. Support for this event will raise awareness of WHF’s on-the-ground conservation work and raise funds to create resilient grasslands and healthy watersheds statewide.

WHF equips landowners and partners with the education, tools, and technical assistance for on the ground restoration, management, and generational sustainability of grassland and prairie habitat for the conservation of soil, water, air, and wildlife.
