Split-Decision in Taylor for LG

It was a roller-coaster night for the La Grange basketball teams in Taylor Tuesday.

The Lady Leps lost to the Ducks in the first half of the varsity doubleheader, falling 66-45 despite 19 points from freshman Campbell Cooper.

But then the Leps got revenge in the boys varsity game, downing Taylor 86-45 led by a 37-piont night from Nate Scott.

The Leps improved to 10-8 overall and 1-0 in district.

The Lady Leps fell to 10-6 overall and 1-1 in district with the loss.

After some tournament action over the holidays, both varsity teams return to district action Jan. 2 at home against Caldwell.

The times for those games have changed.

The varsity girls game with be at 12:30 p.m. that day followed by the varsity boys game about 2 p.m.
