Second Round High School Baseball Playoffs

• The La Grange baseball team (15-15) faces Salado (19-9-1) in the 4Asecond round. Their best-of-three series begins Thursday at 4:30 p.m. in Thrall. Game 2 will be Friday back in Thrall at 4:30 p.m. with a Game 3 to follow if necessary.

• The Flatonia baseball team plays Port Aransas this week at Riverside Stadium in Victoria. This will be a 2A best of three series. Game one is Thursday, May 9 at 7:30 p.m. Game two is 7 p.m. If necessary game three will be on Saturday at 2 p.m.

• The Schulenburg baseball will play Kenedy in a 2A best-of-three series at Marion High School. Game 1 is Thursday at 7 p.m. Game 2 is Saturday at 2 p.m. with a third game to follow Saturday if needed.

• Fayetteville (12-4) plays in the regional quarterfinals where they will face Medina Friday at 7 p.m. in Wimberley in a game-game playoff.
