Scotti Beseda has Been ‘Setting’ Up Fayetteville Volleyball for Success
Freshman Scotti Beseda has quickly made her presence felt with the Fayetteville volleyball team. As a setter, she leads the team in assists with 123, and is second on the team in digs and aces for a Lady Lions team that has jumped out to a 10-2 record and just won the Hearne Tournament over the weekend.
“She’s been really good,” said Fayetteville head coach Clint Jaeger. “She’s got a bright future, and she’s stepped in right away and she doesn’t look like a freshman out there.
“We knew what she was capable of. She’s put in a lot of time with club teams and camps and other stuff. We knew she was coming and she’s stepped in and done an awesome job.”
We’re proud to honor Scotti Beseda as this week’s Fayette County Athlete of the Week:
