Of Note: These historic rivals meet again as district foes. Weimar was off last week and the Wildcats got to watch as the Shorthorns whipped Kenedy 49-0. The Wildcats only win came against Somerville. They have struggled to score points in their other games.

Last meeting: Weimar beat Schulenburg last season 30-23 as the Wildcats’ Dalton Turlington caught a go-ahead 24-yard pass from Huston Kloesel with just 49 seconds left in the game. Aaron Janacek ran for two touchdowns for the Shorthorns and threw a touchdown pass to Byron Johnson.
